How to Make Blueberry Lemonade Step-by-Step

To start, add the blueberries, granulated sugar and 1 cup of the cold water into a small saucepan. Put it over high heat and allow to come to a boil. Once boiling, turn down to a simmer and mash the blueberries as they soften. Once the blueberries are mashed and the sugar is dissolved, remove from the heat, pour into a bowl and place in the fridge to cool completely. This is the blueberry syrup.

While the blueberry syrup is cooling, juice the lemons.
To the juiced lemons, add in the rest of the cold water. This is the lemon juice concentrate. Place in the fridge along with the blueberry syrup.
When the blueberry syrup is fully cooled, strain it into a large serving pitcher. If you want the blueberries in the lemonade, feel free to skip the straining step.

Once the blueberry syrup is in the pitcher, pour over the lemonade concentrate.
Chill more in the fridge if able or add ice cubes and serve. Enjoy!
