Tips to Make Fruit Kabobs
When making the fruit kabobs, there are a few things to keep in mind that will give you the best results…
- Choose fruit that will last long and won’t turn brown easily. In this case, bananas and apples probably aren’t the way to go.
- If you are taking these to a party or have a desire to make them as visually appealing as possible, try choosing the most vibrant and colorful fruit!
- If you are in a rush, precut fruit will be your best friend!
- When cutting the fruit, make the fruit as bite sized as possible to make it easy to eat. However, make sure it is thick enough that it stays on the skewer.
- If you are taking these to a gathering that has lots of little children, consider making mini ones with mini skewers. Even the adults will love them!
Tips to Make High Protein Fruit Dip
- For a creamier fruit dip, use a full fat yogurt. Full fat yogurt also means more protein!
- Make this high protein fruit dip ahead of time and keep it in the fridge. Serving it cold and fresh out of the fridge will make it more refreshing!
- This fruit dip doesn’t need to be for just fruits! Try dipping graham crackers or pretzels in it as well. You’ll thank me later!

How to Make Fruit Kabobs and High Protein Greek Yogurt Step-by-Step
To make the fruit kabobs, start by cutting up the fruit that is being used into bite sized squares that are thick enough to thread onto the skewers. For fruit like strawberries, cutting them up is not necessary.

When all the fruit is prepped, thread onto the desired sized skewers. Alternate the fruits to show variety and balance out the color!

Once threaded onto the skewers, place onto a tray, wrap in plastic wrap, and let chill in the fridge for a bit.
While the fruit is chilling, make the high protein fruit dip. Simply add all of the ingredients to a bowl and give it all a good stir. Place into the fridge to allow to chill as well.
