Lately I have been in a lunch slump. I’ve been unsure about what to pack in my husbands and I’s lunch. Or simply what to make when we are here at home. It’s fun to have a variety of lunches that I can rotate around so we aren’t just eating the same thing all the time.
When I am looking for a lunch recipe to add to my rotation, I am looking for something that is easy to make, packs well, and something that most importantly tastes delicious.
This wrap checks all of those boxes. There are some things you need to do to help it last well in the lunch box, but it definitely tastes delicious and is easy to make. This chicken Caesar wrap can be prepared at the start of the week.
The seasoned and seared chicken tenders, crunchy romaine lettuce, and creamy homemade ceasar dressing make this recipe one that is worth adding to your lunch rotation.

Why You Will Love This Chicken Caesar Wrap
This chicken caesar wrap has nutritious ingredients. If you are like me and one of your goals each day is to prioritize whole foods, then this wrap is a great one for you! There are ways to make it even healthier by choosing type of chicken or kind of tortilla.
This recipe is one that is prep friendly for the busy days ahead. Prepping this salad looks like washing, chopping, and fully drying the romaine lettuce and storing it in a Tupperware container. As well as making a big batch of homemade ceasar dressing and grilling chicken to pull out when needed. I love when a meal can be prepped at the beginning of the week!
Lastly, this recipe is one to love because it easy to make. Following this recipe is one that is simple and straightforward. There are no difficult steps or crazy ingredients. In fact, it probably uses ingredients you already have at home.

Ingredients
- Chicken tenders – Using organic, free range chicken tenders will help you have the juiciest seared chicken. If you would like to have breaded and fried chicken in your chicken ceasar wrap, feel free to do that instead as well!
- Romaine lettuce – Romaine lettuce is the classic lettuce used for ceasar salad. It is perfectly crunchy which is a must in ceasar salad.
- Croutons – Croutons help add extra crunch and seasoning to the wrap. Of course, store bought croutons are so delicious and have great flavor and crunch. Although, if you want to make your own croutons at home, try these homemade sourdough croutons. If you don’t have sourdough bread to make them, just use whatever bread you have on hand! They’ll turn out just as great.
- Tortillas – The tortillas part of this recipe is similar to the croutons. While store bought is always a good option, so is homemade. Again, if you enjoy sourdough recipes, try these sourdough tortillas. For a non sourdough tortilla recipe, I love these homemade flour tortillas.
- Parmesan cheese – A ceasar salad is not complete without parmesan cheese. Neither is a good ceasar dressing.

Homemade Ceasar Dressing Ingredients
- Mayonnaise
- Worcestershire Sauce – If you don’t have Worcestershire sauce in your pantry, soy sauce is a great substitute for it. Soy sauce can be substituted in equal parts.
- Lemon Juice
- Mustard
- Shredded Parmesan Cheese
- Minced Garlic
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste

How to Make A Chicken Ceasar Wrap Step-by-Step
Step 1: Lettuce
Firstly, taking the romaine lettuce, chop off the very ends and also the tops. The tops of the romaine are often wilted. After removing the ends off of the lettuce, chop it up into fine pieces. Place the chopped pieces in a strainer and wash thoroughly. Spread out onto a towel to let fully dry.
Step 2: Tortillas

Second, if making the sourdough tortillas at home, do that first and wrap them in a towel to keep them warm and pliable.
Step 3: Chicken
Next, let’s make the chicken. For the chicken, to a large bowl add the raw chicken tenders, olive oil, garlic powder, salt and pepper and mix until the chicken is all well coated.
Sear the chicken or grill it until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit. Set aside.
Step 4: Ceasar Dressing
For the Caesar dressing, simply add all of the ingredients into a jar and mix well. This includes the mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, mustard, parmesan cheese, garlic clove, and salt/pepper. I like mixing mine with the hand immersion blender to help it get really smooth and creamy.
Step 5: Assemble
To assemble, start by adding lettuce, croutons, parmesan cheese, chopped chicken, and dressing to a bowl. Give it a good mix until the dressing really coats everything.

Then, lay the mixture into the center of a tortilla. Fold in the sides of the tortilla then roll the back to the front, creating a “burrito” look.
Optionally, wrap the chicken ceasar wrap in parchment paper to help with mess when eating and to help it travel well if making ahead.

Enjoy!
