Simple – This recipe is simple to follow. There are no unique steps when whipping this recipe up! It is a put everything in one bowl kind of recipe. The best kind in my opinion!
Pantry Ingredients – A lot of the ingredients that go into making this recipe are what I like to call pantry ingredients. They are things that you most likely always have on hand in your fridge or pantry that are easy to pull out.
Cheap – I love a good deal. Living in a day where meat and really basic ingredients are expensive, it is nice to have a cheap recipe option. Now, often times it can be easy to associate cheap with not tasty. However, keep those two words separate in this instance. This recipe doesn’t cost much but it is still healthy and full of protein.

FAQs
How do you keep salmon patties from falling apart?
A problem that we can often run into when making salmon patties is that they fall apart. There are a few things you can do to prevent this from happening. One of those things being to have enough binding agents. In our recipe, we include 3 eggs and some breadcrumbs to ensure the salmon patties stay together. Secondly, making sure your mixture is fine will prevent crumbling as well. Really breaking up the salmon as well as chopping the additional ingredients very finely. Lastly, frying the salmon patties long enough will keep them from falling apart. Making sure they have a nice browning on both sides. I notice too that when they sit too long in their moisture, crumbling can take place.
Do you put mayonnaise in salmon patties?
Yes, mayonnaise is often found in salmon patties. This is because mayo can be considered a binding agent as well as it can help make the salmon patties creamy.
